The Springs

Flowcrete Australia has added a touch of sparkle to the newly-opened Sitting Duck Bistro and Duck Inn Bar, housed within the new clubhouse building of a luxury golf complex located in Peats Ridge, North of Sydney.

The Springs Golf & Country Club is a championship 18 hole course offering members and visitors a stunning vista over the surrounding rural landscape.  As part of a project designed to upgrade facilities, a new state-of-the-art clubhouse has been built on the site.

The new clubhouse features dining, lounge, bar and function areas - all within a luxurious interior setting.

Flowcrete's Flowcoat Terrosso system was selected to cover the 400m2 multi-purpose, open-plan area. A bespoke colour flake combination was chosen by the client to offer a natural finish that flows cohesively with the stylish wood furnishings, chandeliers and picturesque surroundings.

Flowtex F1 Repair Mortar from Flowcrete was also used in the kitchen and behind the bar to level and correct the existing slab as well as to create falls to drains and prevent the pooling of water in these areas.

Some 140m² of Flowcrete's 6mm antimicrobial Flowfresh SR system was later installed in these back-of-house areas with an R12 slip resistance to prevent any slips or trips. 100mm coving was laid in conjunction with the Flowfresh to ensure a hygienic transition between the floor and wall.
