Werribee Plaza Shopping Centre

Werribee Plaza Shopping Centre, a major retail hub located in Werribee, Victoria, attracts thousands of visitors each day. Known for its wide array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, the center provides ample parking facilities to accommodate its high traffic. As part of an infrastructure enhancement, Werribee Plaza decided to upgrade its car park with a durable, long-lasting floor coating to enhance safety and aesthetics.

Kings Commercial was contracted to install the Deckshield ID system across the car park’s internal bays, driveways, and ramps, covering an area of 25,000m2. The installation, completed over four weeks, involved applying a grey Deckshield ID coating, known for its high durability and slip-resistant properties. The Deckshield system, a polyurethane-based floor coating, was chosen for its ability to withstand the high traffic load typical in a shopping center and its resistance to oil spills and wear from vehicles.

This new flooring system not only improved the visual appeal of the Werribee Plaza car park but also enhanced safety for visitors by providing a slip-resistant surface on the driveways and ramps. Kings Commercial’s efficient installation ensured minimal disruption, resulting in a high-quality, long-lasting solution for Werribee Plaza.
