The Earlwood Growers Market installed a Flowcrete Australia solution when it needed a bespoke floor that could provide a hygienic and attractive finish on top of a challenging substrate.

The fresh produce grocer, located in Sydney, had initially specified polished concrete for their floor; however this would not work on top of the building’s existing slab. To overcome this issue the owners turned to Flowcrete Australia for a floor that both resembled polished concrete and that could be applied within the premises. 

The resin flooring specialists recommended the methyl methacrylate (MMA) resin floor finish Flowfast Terrosso for the site due to its aesthetically pleasing, fast curing and hard wearing properties.

The work was carried out during the evening for completion in the morning so that the Earlwood Growers Market did not have to close their business and lose revenue during the refurbishment.

The Flowfast Terrosso system was installed in the aisles, trading floor, checkouts and deli areas of the store in a bespoke colour blend. The owners chose this colour so that the floor would compliment the store’s fit out and surroundings.
