In addition to student living accommodation, UniLodge properties have a range of amenities such as quiet study rooms, gourmet kitchens and lounges. The client was eager to set a precedent for the quality of the accommodation and amenities at its Melbourne complex, starting from the entrance foyer.

Mondéco EP was used to create a luxurious first impression in the 80m² foyer of the UniLodge Lonsdale building. The apartment style complex is located in the heart of Melbourne and provides a perfect location for university and college students to access local landmarks, facilities and transportation.

To reduce disruption to staff and guests, the low odour Mondéco EP system was laid in two sections to ensure that the lift area remained functional during the installation. The slip resistance requirements of the entry ramp needed to exceed a P4 rating to ensure visitor safety and so non-slip aggregates were incorporated in to the seal coat of the system using a special technique so as to not diminish the beauty and overall finish. The clean, white aesthetic is welcoming with a hint of glamour, thanks to the inclusion of light-catching aggregates. The light coloured flooring complements the pale brown furniture and contrasts attractively with the dark wood of the reception area.
