1,400 square metres of Flowseal UV - Flowcrete Australia's polyurethane resin coating material - have been installed across the hangar in a phased application project.
The UV-stable Flowseal UV system was selected by the client on account of its performance throughout the evaluation stage of the project combined with its cost-effective price point.
ExecuJet Aviation Group also required a floor coating that was bright and light reflective so as to ensure an optimised environment for engineers working on the aircraft.
Critical for a hangar facility, the material is also resistant to aviation fuels, including Skydrol.
The material was completed in two sections of 700 square metres, which were installed over a six day turnaround period.
The project at ExecuJet's Mascot facility represents a second for Flowcrete Australia, having previously coated another of the company's hangars in Essendon, Victoria in 2008.
