Flowcrete Joins the Independent Brewers Association

  • Flowcrete Australia has become a member of the Independent Brewers Association (IBA)
  • IBA’s industry associates consist of several companies involved in the supply chain of the Australian brewing industry
  • Flowcrete Australia will have the opportunity to share its flooring expertise with the brewing industry

Flowcrete Australia has joined the Independent Brewers Association (IBA), which consists of companies involved in the Australian brewing industry’s supply chain.

The IBA is currently the only association working to advance the interests of the independent brewing industry, and is an important gateway for suppliers and government bodies to get information to decision makers within the brewing world.

With 93% of domestic beer consumption being brewed in Australia, the IBA provides beneficial brand alignment by supporting this growing market. In fact, IBA provide an online company listing on the Australian Brewing Directory for all industry associate members, facilitating networking and enabling partnerships to be formed between members.

Further benefits of becoming a member include a member’s discount to IBA produced events, including the annual Brewers Conference and Awards ceremony, access to an exclusive online members portal and the opportunity to exhibit at the annual BrewCon Trade Expo.

BrewCon and The Independent Beer Awards (The Indies) are hosted by IBA each year. Whilst BrewCon exists to build excellence and best-practice in the Australian beer industry by connecting suppliers, innovators and leaders of the national and international brewing community, The Indies drive consumer awareness of the quality, diversity and excellence of Australian independent beer.

During BrewCon, Flowcrete Australia will have the opportunity to share latest flooring products and systems that can benefit the growing brewing industry in Australia. Such systems include the HACCP International certified polyurethane concrete flooring system, Flowfresh, a popular choice within the food and drink production industry thanks to its chemical resistance, durability, temperature resistance and antibacterial properties.

Flowfresh represents the future of seamless, hygienic antibacterial flooring thanks to an exclusive partnership with Polygiene®. Using a natural silver ion based technology; Flowfresh can reduce the bacterial population on the surface of the floor by up to 99.9%.

Flowcrete Australia will also be able to provide expert insights into the ideal flooring solutions for public areas of breweries, as facility tours, tastings and gift shops continue to grow in popularity.
