The latest parking technology and industry trends were featured at the Parking Australia Outlook Conference earlier this month.
The industry event, held at The Star in Sydney's Darling Harbour, attracted parking professionals from across Australia. Keynote speakers educated attendees on a variety topics during the event, all on the theme "The Future is Today".
Session topics included "The Future Crunch of Disruption & Smart Transport for Australia" from Tané Hunter of Lighthouse Data Science and "Social media and Parking: Why, Where, What & How?" from Richard Simpson of Canadian company Parkplus System. Parking Australia live-streamed delegate sessions to Facebook throughout the two day event. You can catch up with the session videos on Parking Australia’s Facebook page.
Flowcrete Australia were again proud to support this event by exhibiting its specialist car park flooring systems and sponsoring the industry leading conference. Flowcrete Australia's Managing Director, Sean Tinsley, was on-stand throughout the conference, educating industry professionals about how resin based car park deck coatings can be used to transform and protect parking structures.
To celebrate the best of the industry, Parking Australia hosted the Parking Awards on 18th September at Sydney’s Star Event Centre.
Sean Tinsley said: "Flowcrete were proud to present the award for Outstanding New or Refurbished Car Park to the Queensland University of Technology for their Sportsfield Car Park entry and continue to support advancements within the design and refurbishment of parking facilities".
The Parking Awards celebrated the achievements of the industry across the following seven categories with winners having showcased best practice and exceptional contributions to the industry.
